Couples looking for a decent getaway

The location was decent as you are about 500ft from the beach. There is a really good coffee shop nearby, not the one attached to the building, but across the street. We were able to easily get new towels consistently every day.

It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but still acceptable.

Perfect family getaway!

The staff was super friendly and cracked jokes at check-in. Location is a total win. beach is just steps away, and there's tasty food across the street. Room was clean and comfy. Loved the picnic tables outside for a quick snack, but the lobby renovation was kind of cramped at times.

Would recommend for a short staycation

Clean room, convenient location with easy beach access, the vibrant color scheme made it feel cheerful, and the coffee shop in the lobby was a great perk for my mornings.

i had a great stay at beach house dewey. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and local restaurants. my room was updated and very clean, exceeding my expectations based on previous visits to other places in dewey beach.

Clean hotel, quiet between rooms.

The rooms had bright, cheerful decor, and the layout was accessible for seniors, making it easy to navigate. I felt right at home with the clean environment and the friendly staff, who were always helpful.

More seating options in common areas would be nice.

Great beach access and comfy beds, but Wi-Fi could be stronger.

The best part of my stay was the super close beach access! 🌊 However, I was disappointed by the limited housekeeping during my visit.

Had an amazing getaway with my friends! Just steps from the ocean, we enjoyed local spots with live music and refreshing Orange Crushes. The warm hospitality made us feel right at home. Just a heads up, cleaning was a bit minimal during our stay. Overall, this place is my new favorite spot for a beach trip!

One downside was the room's worn condition, which didn’t match the recently renovated claims. Some fixtures could use a refresh, and we experienced a lack of thorough cleaning during our stay.

The location at Beach House Dewey Motel can't be beat! Steps away from the beach, perfect for quick trips to the shore. The staff is incredibly welcoming. They made me feel right at home, especially Mike, the general manager, who was knowledgeable and friendly. The room was modern and clean, which I appreciated greatly after spending my day outdoors. However, the check-in process was less than ideal. My room wasn’t ready even 20 minutes after check-in time. Additionally, I encountered some noise from nearby bars, which could be a concern for light sleepers. A little more attention to soundproofing would help. Overall, a solid stay for beach lovers!

i had a lovely 4-night stay at beach house dewey motel. the rooms were clean and modern, with nice setups for luggage and clothing. it was just a short walk to the beach, and i appreciated the friendly staff. also, there were plenty of clean towels and good hot water. An outdoor pool for relaxation.
